DSS Test Proctoring
The 色界吧 DSS Test Proctoring office provides test proctoring services to students who have been assigned testing accommodations through SWC Disability Support Services.
At the beginning of each semester, students should provide their instructors with a copy of their updated Authorized Academic Accommodations (AAA) form. We recommend you request your AAA after you register for classes. Always utilize Priority Enrollment when it is available to you. To request your current or upcoming term AAA form, complete the form. Instructions are provided on the form on how to complete and submit it.
DSS will provide test proctoring for online/remote classes and on-campus classes. If your class exam is taking place in person, DSS will offer in-person proctoring. You must complete a 鈥淭est Accommodation Request Form (TARF)鈥 for all in-person exam proctoring appointments. The TARF is available here in PDF form on the DSS Website, the DSS Office in Room 68-108, the DSS Test Proctoring Office in Room 26-102 and the HEC's Student Services.
For exams at the Chula Vista Campus, the completed TARF should be emailed to dssproctor@swccd.edu or return the completed TARF to the DSS Test Proctoring Office, Room 26-102.
Proctoring hours will be available on the Chula Vista Campus Monday 鈥 Thursday from 7:30am 鈥 4:30pm and Fridays from 7:30am - 2:00pm.
For exams at the Higher Education Centers, the completed TARF should be submitted to the HEC student services counter at that campus at least 4 school days prior to the exam date.
Students who require one-on-one assistance (reader/scribe) should contact our office to discuss the options available. If you need online proctoring contact DSS Test Proctoring at dssproctor@swccd.edu at least 4 school days prior to the exam date.
Feel free to contact us with any questions regarding testing accommodations.
