Welcome to Y.E.S. Academy!

SWC's Youth Excellence and Success (Y.E.S.) Academy provides summer enrichment experiences for students entering grades 4–10, designed to spark career exploration, personal interests, and early college exposure in a welcoming, supportive environment.

Our academy encourages students of all levels to step out of their comfort zones, try new things, and develop new skills through exciting courses and hands-on workshops — all held right on our college campus! We believe this early experience can inspire students to discover new interests and envision their own unique paths to success.

 What We Offer: - Our Booklet 2025 - English , Booklet 2025 - Spanish

• Career Exploration & Personal Growth: Students explore careers and personal interests to support both fun and learning.
• Writers Café (Optional Add-On): A relaxed space between sessions where students can write, eat, connect, and reflect. Highly recommended for students enrolled in both AM & PM sessions.

Open House Invitation

We’re excited to welcome families to campus the week of June 9 for a special Open House!

Time Blocks: AM (9:00am-11:30am) and/or PM (12:00pm-2:30pm)

This is a great opportunity to:

• Visit classrooms
• Meet instructors
• Get familiar with campus
• Ask questions before the summer sessions begin

We’ll confirm the date and time via email, so be sure your contact info is up to date in your form submission.

2025 Program Sessions & Cost (Monday -Thursday)

• Session I: June 16 – June 27, 2025
• Session II: June 30 – July 11, 2025
• Time Blocks: AM and/or PM courses available
• Cost: $185 per student, per class
• Writers Café Add-On: $40 per session (recommended if enrolled in both AM & PM)
• T-Shirts Add-On!: $14.00 each. We highly recommend ordering a Y.E.S. Academy t-shirt for your student! Wearing the shirt helps build a sense of community and belonging, makes it easier for staff to identify students during campus transitions, and  Sizes: Available in a variety of youth and adult sizes

Refund & Cancellation Policy

A full refund will be made If SWC Y.E.S. Academy cancels a class, we will notify you at least (5) business days in advance, and offer either a full refund or an option to transfer to another course (pending availability).
If you have registered for a class, and you cancel at least three (3) business days prior to the start of the class, you will receive a full refund of the class fee. You are not eligible for any refunds beyond the three-day period.

• No-shows are not eligible for a refund
• T-shirt sales are final – no refunds or exchanges

Opportunities for 11th–12th Graders:  

We offer non-paid volunteer leadership roles for students entering 11th or 12th grade who are looking to support the program, gain valuable experience, and earn volunteer hours.

After registering your child(ren), we ask that parents/guardians complete our One-Stop Y.E.S. Academy Consent & Info Form. This form collects everything we need to ensure your student has a safe and meaningful experience, including: 

• Emergency contacts
• Authorized pick-up information
• Medical/allergy details
• Conduct agreement
• Photo/video release
• Learning support needs (if any)
• Open House RSVP

Thank you for your interest in Y.E.S. Academy! At this time, we are no longer accepting scholarship applications for Summer 2025.

We’re so grateful for the incredible response and interest in our program. If you were hoping to apply for a scholarship, we understand this may be disappointing — but we’re happy to share that scholarship opportunities will return for Summer 2026!
