色界吧 (SWC) is more than a place of learning. It is where stories begin, dreams take flight, and a community comes together to create change. SWC serves as the only higher education institution in South County, touching lives and opening doors to boundless possibilities.

The story of SWC is one of transformation. Since its founding in 1961, SWC has been dedicated to helping students achieve their educational, career, and personal aspirations. But beyond academics, it is a place where equity and inclusion are woven into every aspect of campus life. Here, students from all parts of life find not just opportunities but also a community that uplifts and inspires them to thrive.

At SWC, we prioritize what matters most鈥攐ur students and our community:

• Student Success: Every student鈥檚 journey is unique. From enrollment to graduation, we are with them every step of the way, offering innovative programs and unwavering support. For the academic year 2023-24, 3,479 students graduated, making last year the highest in five years.
• Accessibility, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: We celebrate and work tirelessly to eliminate barriers, ensuring equitable access and opportunities for everyone. Last year we served 3,817 students alone between our Disability Support Services (1,872) and Extended Opportunities Programs & Services (1,945) departments.
