Isaac Hale teaches classes on political institutions, research methodology, and elections.
His research on racial attitudes, representation, vote choice, and electoral systems has appeared in leading academic journals. Hale鈥檚 work includes studies of the US, Chile, Canada, and the UK. Hale has also contributed to initiatives seeking to address systemic inequality in California and to enact electoral reform in the US and Canada. In recent election cycles, he has been interviewed for television, podcasts, and newspapers about California and national politics.
