The division of academic affairs encompasses curriculum, research, and learning.
The division of academic affairs is headed by the dean of the college and vice president for academic affairs. The dean of the college provides vision, leadership and supervision for the College’s academic departments and programs, supports faculty, promotes students’ progress through the academic program, and works closely with the president to promote academic excellence.​
The division of academic affairs advances the mission of the College through its academic program. The dean's office carries out three fundamental activities: teaching, learning, and scholarly and creative activity. In support of these activities, the dean's office recruits new faculty, supports their professional development, reviews the curriculum, promotes research, and provides academic support for students.
