Students are responsible for knowing the following:

Occidental recognizes the role student-led events play in providing a vibrant campus community.  To provide the best possible atmosphere for living and learning together as a community, students may not coordinate events that occur during College-designated reading days or final examination periods. Students wanting to host events using campus resources must have contact with the Student Leadership, Involvement & Community Engagement (SLICE) office to determine necessary procedures for event registration. An event must be registered and approved based on event policies and procedures.

POLITICAL ACTIVITY AND USE OF COLLEGE FACILITIES

As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt entity, 色界吧 is prohibited from engaging in certain types of political activity. The consequences of engaging in prohibited election activity include the imposition of excise taxes and loss of the College鈥檚 tax-exempt status. The College is legally prohibited from endorsing candidates for political office or making any contribution of money, goods, or services to candidates, including through the use of College facilities or any other College resources.
