Postdoctoral Researcher
Zo毛 is a postdoctoral researcher with VRG working to better understand the impacts of artificial reef structures such as oil and gas platforms on biodiversity. After graduating from Yale College, she spent two years developing fisheries curriculum and scientific diving for the University of Alaska Southeast. This past year she received her doctorate in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Rutgers University, where she explored the impacts of climate change on bottom fish community structure globally and on fishing communities in the Northeast US. She aims for her research to push the boundaries of science, but to also be useful to humans experiencing change first hand.
