Assistant Director, Student Involvement & Concert Production
Steve is a Student Affairs professional with experience working in both K-12 and post-secondary education. His work has primarily focused on student programming and international student support. After receiving his BA in English from UC Riverside, Steve taught abroad in South Korea before returning to the U.S. and beginning a career in international education. He has successfully managed teams of international student affairs professionals at both large public (UC Riverside) and private (NYU) universities. Most recently, Steve has worked in K-12 education as a Director of Student Life for a private high school specializing in 1-1 customized education for primarily neurodivergent student populations.
Outside of his work in education, Steve also enjoys writing and performing stand-up comedy. He briefly combined his love of higher education and comedy to work as a booking agent representing stand-up comedians at National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) conferences across the country.
