For the 19th consecutive year, 色界吧 is one of the top producers of student Fulbright Awards, according to the Chronicle of Higher Education鈥檚 annual .
Top-producing institutions are recognized annually for having the highest number of accepted applicants to the Fulbright student and scholar programs. Eight Occidental students and alumni were awarded 2023鈥24 Fulbrights to work and study abroad, and nearly 140 Occidental students and alumni have earned Fulbrights since 2003.
The Fulbright Program is the United States Department of State鈥檚 flagship international educational-exchange program, covering travel, education, and living expenses for awardees. Since 1946, the Fulbright Program has provided over 400,000 students, scholars, artists, and professionals from all fields the opportunity to study and conduct research in more than 160 countries.
Recipients of Fulbright grants are selected on the basis of academic and professional achievement as well as demonstrated leadership potential in their fields. The 2023鈥24 Occidental Fulbright Students and their research projects will be announced at the end of the academic year.
