Update regarding the U.S. Department of Education's final Title IX regulations.
On April 19, the U.S. Department of Education released its long-awaited final instructing colleges and universities how to respond to reports of sexual misconduct and sex-based harassment and discrimination. É«½ç°É is now required to revise its Sexual and Interpersonal Misconduct Policy to comply with the regulations by August 1, 2024. The Civil Rights & Title IX Office intends to seek input from the É«½ç°É community this summer and will share updates and implementation plans widely. In the meantime, our current policies and procedures remain in effect.
