Hola! My name is Lucy and I am the Counselor-Coordinator and Instructor for the CHEL LGBTQ Learning Community. I consider myself a loving and encouraging force to those around me and I am committed to supporting students to embrace their most authentic and empowered self. I proudly identify as Queer and Bi and am honored to be serving as the Chel Counselor and supporting our LGBTQIA+ community on and off campus! A bit about my background, I was born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles into a large and vibrant Mexican family. 聽I have called San Diego home for the past six years and have a great community and chosen family here! When I鈥檓 not working, I enjoy cooking, being in nature, tending to my many houseplants, going to concerts and spending time with my loved ones.聽
